At some point everyone's watch needs to be serviced, no matter the brand or grade; just like your automobile, watches require attention from time to time. Zerbe Jewelers can provide that service.

Fine mechanical watches like Rolex and others, have finely crafted movements that might have hundreds of tiny parts. These parts must run smoothly against each other for the watch to properly function. The movements must be scrupulously clean and have a tiny amount of high grade lubrication applied to the points of friction. Over time the oils get worn and dry out and your watch needs to be cleaned and serviced. This is accomplished by taking the watch apart completely, examining all the parts, then cleaning and reassembling and finally, adding just the tiniest amount of new oils.

To accomplish this in the very best fashion, Zerbe Jewelers recommends sending fine watches to their respective factory service centers. All important watch companies maintain service centers in the US. Just bring your watch in to us, tell us what is wrong and we will ship it to the proper service center, have them evaluate your watch and estimate the cost of repair, inform you and handle all the details.

Sometimes watches just need some adjustment, not an entire overhaul. For this, Zerbe Jewelers uses three different local watch repair shops. Each shop has their own areas of expertise and we get your watch taken care of by the best person for that job.

The very popular quartz movement watches have fewer parts and require less service than their mechanical counterparts, typically just a fresh battery every couple of years. Zerbe Jewelers stocks nearly every watch battery made. Most of the time we can change your battery while you wait. If your watch is a diving model and needs to be resealed, we have a local shop that does that for us.
